Rick update: we saw lots of different doctors today. We still don't have pathology results back so no update on the type of cancer. Rick has some weakness on the left side of his arm, when they touch it, he doesn't feel it. He can still squeeze his arm/hand and call distinguish hot/cold sensation. This is probably due to the shifting that happened and the swelling. We saw the before and after MRI pictures and the 'after' looks good, still just a lot of swelling. He's getting medicine to help reduce that. He was able to feed himself today and ate better. He's still easily overwhelmed and gets tired a lot. All normal things considering he's only 2 days out from surgery. They are confident he will need some time at a rehab center. Once he is stable enough to leave here, he'll stay at rehab for about 7-10 days. Then we will have a better idea of chemotherapy or radiation treatment. Overall, today was much improvement over yesterday. He had some visitors today and lots of cards and prayers still coming. The staff here has been so awesome and I can't begin to express my gratitude for all the love and support we've received. Rick's work has been super and they are just like family. He's one lucky man. Love to all of you for being there for us. God is on our side and helping us get through this journey. Thanks everyone. I really appreciate all of you. red wedding guest dress
